Background: In his previous article Roshan Dsouza explored how clear goals can help team members achieve exceptional growth. Since the early 70's we have been in a constant understanding of process improvement and increase the productivity of individuals to help better the bottomline of the company. The process has been helped with technology growing by leaps and bounds.
In the time taken to make the process worthy, we have forgotten an important part of the equation; the need for people to be creative and innovative in the process of keeping productivity levels high. While we are removing this intrinsic people need from the equation and creating a new need of profit with a reduction in human intervention, there is a paradigm that is growing with each year of improvement.
The time is now, during this transition phase, to upgrade your skills. Learn of the changing trends in and out of your industry of operations, improve your social reach to the customers and reinvent the wheel by learning a new aspect of your trade that you have not done before.
